Liver ablation (radiofrequency or microwave)
Ablación hepática

A special needle, guided by imaging, is passed through the skin into a liver lesion and destroys it with heat, using radiofrequency or microwave energy, without open surgery. Each case is assessed together with your treating doctor.

CT-guided percutaneous biopsy
Biopsia percutánea guiada por tomografía

A tissue sample is taken from deep organs, such as the lung or liver, through the skin with a CT-guided needle.

CT-guided percutaneous drainage
Drenaje percutáneo guiado por tomografía

A thin tube is placed through the skin to drain a deep abscess or collection, often avoiding open surgery.
